DO I NEED A HOME INSPECTION?
In Georgia, a home inspection is not mandatory for the purchase of a home. However, many of the defects, presence of termites or mold can be missed during walkthroughs because what a buyers looks for it not what an inspector looks for. This applies to new construction or previously constructed homes.
HOW LONG DOES A HOME INSPECTION TAKE?
An inspection can take anywhere from 1 hr to 5 hrs depending on the square footage of the property and the amount of defects that are found.
CAN I BE PRESENT DURING THE INSPECTION?
We welcome your presence during the inspection, but try not to distract the inspector with too many questions while he is inspecting as to not disturb his process. Instead we ask wait until the end or arrive close to the estimated end time of the inspection and the inspector will gladly go over everything that was found
WHEN WILL THE INSPECTION REPORT BE READY?
We strive to provide same day reports, on busier days the report may be delivered late in evening or before business hours the following day.
